The 2026 Canadian Grand Prix weekend in Montreal (Round 5) reinforced the shape of the season so far: Andrea Kimi Antonelli remains the reference point in the championship picture, while several Measure rankings saw sharp movement after Canada’s points were added.
The headline in the title fight is stability at the very top and volatility underneath it. Antonelli’s benchmark now sits at 131 points after five rounds, while the weekend also triggered meaningful ranking swings elsewhere—most notably in overtakes and the teammate head-to-head tables.
After the Canadian Grand Prix, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) leads the 2026 Drivers’ Championship on 131 points. George Russell (Mercedes) is second on 88, and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) holds third on 75.
Just behind the top three, Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) is fourth on 72, with Lando Norris (McLaren) fifth on 58. In the Measure championship view, Hamilton is the notable position-change in the top five, up one place to P4, while Norris drops one to P5.

Qualifying head-to-heads also shifted: Max Verstappen (Red Bull) moved up five to fourth in “Teammate head-to-head (qualifying)” with a 3–1 mark, while Gabriel Bortoleto (Audi) dropped seven to 17th on 2–3. Elsewhere, Nico Hülkenberg (Audi) rose five to 10th in the race head-to-head (3–2), and Liam Lawson (RB F1 Team) fell six to 12th in “Most overtakes” on 20.
